Super Simple 1-Hour Beginner Pickleball Drilling Session

  **Time:** 60 minutes  

**You need:** Paddle, 3 balls, court + 1 partner  

**Perfect for total beginners!**

### 1. Warm-Up (0–10 minutes)

– Walk or jog slowly around the court for 2 minutes.  

– Swing your arms in circles (10 each way).  

– Hit the ball gently with your partner for 6 minutes.  

  Just keep it going – no score!

### 2. Easy Hits from the Back (10–25 minutes)

– Stand at the back of the court.  

– Hit 10 easy forehands (right side) down the line with your partner.  

– Hit 10 easy backhands (left side).  

– Then hit 10 alternating (forehand then backhand).  

– Go slow. Miss? Just pick it up and try again.

### 3. Dinking Time (25–40 minutes) – The most important part!

– Stand close to the net (kitchen line) with your partner.  

– Hit soft “dinks” back and forth.  

  Try to get 10 in a row.  

– Place a marker (cone, water bottle, or shoe) as a target – aim for it 8 times.

### 4. Serving (40–50 minutes)

– Stand behind the line.  

– Serve 10 times from the right side to your partner.  

– Serve 10 times from the left side.  

– Keep them soft and deep.  

– Then do 5 serves + returns with your partner.

### 5. Fun Game + Stretch (50–60 minutes)

– Play a short Skinny Singles game to 7 points (just for fun).  

– Stretch your arms and legs for 3 minutes.  

– Done!
